Blog and Life Update!

I have been MIA for far too long with our family blog! So much has happened since April when I last posted. I have so many pictures to share and some big news so let's get started!

May brought the end of the school year for me and we got a BIG surprise on my last day of school...

In June we traveled to Nashville to visit my family and celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary...

Evan loved visiting Nana and Papa!


Evan even got to visit Aunt Sarah's horse, he wasn't too sure about him...

Back in The Little Apple, we enjoyed our summer days relaxing and having fun with friends. Evan was introduced to powdered donuts and loved every minute of it!


We bought Evan a pool and he loved being in the water. He especially enjoyed the hose!

For Father's Day we traveled to the Salina Zoo and surprised daddy with the classic car show! Daddy

loves cars and we had a fun afternoon together.

 

Before we knew it August was upon us and Mommy had to go back to work. Evan was excited to go back full time with his wonderful daycare provider, Miss Kristie. We all love her and feel so good knowing Evan enjoys being with her all day.

In September we found out what our new addition would be...

Evan turned 18 months old...seriously where does the time go?! I love my first little mister!

In October we took Evan to a pumpkin patch and picked out the perfect pumpkin for carving. Evan had a blast with all the fun activities. We even went on a hayrack ride!

Every year, the Little Apple hosts a trick-or-treat event for kids. All the downtown shops hand out candy and there's a parade. We had such a fun time going and making memories as a family.


Here Evan is all dressed up on Halloween and ready to go trick-or-treating. We love our little monkey!

Well...I think that gets us all caught up! We are heading into the holiday season and are excited to spend it with friends and family. This Christmas is one we will treasure as it's our last one as a family of three. Soon we will welcome our second child and will have so many more memories to make!
