Not Quitting Tuesdays

Week 4

Well...this week I didn't go to my Weight Watchers meeting. I have to be honest with everyone, although it was going well, my heart just wasn't in it. I decided this past weekend to not pay the monthly fee to weigh-in. I think for right now, it is just not going to work with our budget and my so-so commitment. BUT, I'm not quitting...I'm just going a different route. I still want to share great tips/suggestions with everyone and I will still record my weight loss on the blog {will update the weight next week, I promise!}. I just will be doing it on my own, without the weekly weigh-in's at WW.

I have a new goal and it's to focus on fitness! I love it when I exercise because it makes me feel so good about myself! With summer right around the corner, I'm excited to be able to focus more on that aspect of my journey. I will be eating healthy and will be watching my calories/portions. I have found a FREE site that helps with calorie counting My Fitness Pal . It's great because it has a HUGE database of foods to choose from when you journal and if a food is not there, you can add in the nutritional information and store it for yourself and others can use it too!

I have heard so much these days about using kettle bells and/or doing cardio bursts while working out. I have been looking into starting a new type of exercise progam and incorporating it along with my walking to burn more fat. I have been looking into some exercise programs that incorporate these strategies into their workouts and have found a great one at The Firm. It's a bit pricey, but I figured that my money is better spent on something I can use all the time vs. just going to Weight Watchers to weigh-in. I have decided to purchase it and I can't wait to delve into it and get fit! It only requires you to work out 3 times per week for 20 minutes. I plan on pairing this system with walking and hopefully I will continue to see results on the scale! Check it out!

  1. Good luck with your new workouts! I don't blame you for stopping weight watchers. That is part of the motivation for me, if I'm paying for it, I better do it.
