Two girls, one garmin, driving to Kansas City for retail therapy equals one fun adventure for a Saturday! Jenny and I left early yesterday for a fun trip to the big city for some shopping. We were headed to Zona Rosa, a shopping center in Kansas City. They had a LOFT {our favorite store} and we were wanting to see what else Zona Rosa had to offer. Turns out that Zona Rosa was an adorable, quaint shopping center with lots of fun stores. We also went to DSW to look at shoes. I'm going to go back in a few weeks to get some shoes for the upcoming winter season.
Stopped to get Starbucks before we left The Little Apple. We got their fabulous fall treat, Pumpkin Spice Latte, non-fat of course! It was a tasty cup of caffeine that helped me drive the 2 1/2 hours to KC. Plus it helped us get into the fall season mood. Perfect for a shopping trip!
Zona Rosa in Kansas City!
Look at that store! Our favorite LOFT just waiting for us to come in and SHOP!
We ate lunch at the yummy Bravo restaurant. I got a flatbread pizza and Jenny was good and got a salad. Both dishes were yummy and gave us energy to move on to the shoes at DSW! We ate our lunch outside on Bravo's patio and enjoyed the gorgeous fall day. The temperature was perfect, the sun was shining, and the breeze was blowing. Fall is knocking on our door!
We found a cute, old-fashioned telephone booth in Zona Rosa's square and decided to take some fun shots. Jenny is looking all cute and stylin' and I'm attempting the same look, but didn't quite achieve it with my eyes shut, darn. Still a cute memory!
