"The Cone"

My poor Molly has been having trouble with a bump on the top of her head. It appeared last fall and has slowly gotten bigger and bigger. I took her to the vet this week and they said it needs to be surgically removed {not too happy about that} and we can't get in to see the vet until October 7th. So in the mean time I am supposed to keep the bump clean and dry and TRY to prevent Molly from rubbing her head. So far I've been able to keep a close eye on her and stop her from rubbing her head on the floor or furniture. This morning she just wouldn't stop rubbing and I had no choice but to put the cone on her head. Poor baby, can't you just see the sadness in her eyes. It's no fun wearing a cone that's twice as big as your head. Can't wait until we can see the doctor and get this bump removed!
