getting back to "normal"

My husband has been home for about a week now and we have enjoyed getting back to our "normal" day to day routine. It has been a wonderful week and I am so thankful that we are together again!

Along with "normal" comes A LOT of laundry! Mark unpacked all of his bags and he ended up doing 12 loads of laundry over 3 days. Our new washing machine handled the job beautifully and all of his clothes are clean and back where they belong...in our closet and dresser!



My workout area was temporarily out of service due to all the deployment gear that had to be unpacked, but I'm happy to report that it is now free of clutter and ready to go again {I should be more excited about that, right?!}



I got Mark a gift for his home coming and this was his face when he figured out what it was...a Wii! He was so excited! We hooked it up and played for awhile that afternoon. It was fun!

Next week is my spring break and Mark has block leave so we are headed to Kansas City for some much needed rest and relaxation. I'm so excited about our little trip! We are staying at a quaint bed and breakfast and will be exploring some of what KC has to offer. Stay tuned for more pictures!
