Happy Anniversary!

Tomorrow {June 13, 2011} will be our second wedding anniversary...but the first one we've actually been together to celebrate! As I think back on all that we've been through these last two years, I remember last year Mark was in Iraq and we spent our very first anniversary apart--a bitter sweet memory. I remember skyping and being able to see each other on the computer screen, we said "happy anniversary" and "i love you," but it's not the same as actually being together.

We are so blessed to be able to spend our second anniversary together! We're keeping it simple, but it's going to be a wonderful milestone to celebrate. Mark surprised me with a great anniversary gift:

a food processor, which I am very excited to have! I got him some grilling accessories for his new grill {a gas gauge and grilling mitt}, which he loved as well. We're planning on going out to dinner and just soaking up the time spent together on a very special day.
