Week 3
So....this week I lost .6 pounds AGAIN. At least I didn't gain. I think this has become my saying for each weigh in, haha! My total weight loss to date is 2.6 pounds. My leader says my rate of weight loss is right on track. They apparently look at your weight loss in monthly totals, not weekly totals.
My parents were here this past week and I have a confession to make...I didn't count my points or exercise so I'm actually really surprised that I lost again. We went out to eat several times and you know how restaurant food can be--full of calories!
I was really excited when my friend and fellow blogger over at Man Cub Momma suggested that all of us WW followers share our tips/ideas/recipes etc. So...my tip of the week is a great recipe that my husband and I tried last night, Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets. I love chicken nuggets and this is an excellent alternative to the higher fat varieties. They were great with some honey mustard dressing for dipping!
Good job! Especially for not counting and going out to eat a lot. I love the chicken nugget recipe... I especially love that there are no eggs in it for Jackson! I will definately be making those. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI don't even cook, and I might even try making those! Good job on the 0.6 loss. I know this is a gross analogy, but whenever I start thinking about how I wished I had lost more, I try to think about weight in meat - as in ground beef. I picture my fat as the packaged ground beef at the grocery store. Then I realize it's really a lot! Did any of that make sense? Or did I just make you lose your appetite? :)
