When I arrived last week to start unpacking all my stuff, it was a whirlwind of craziness. I arrived to my room being used as "storage" for new math books and my principal's new desk furniture. All the custodians for the district were also at our school, moving furniture. I had to wait for my room to be cleared out and my furniture to be moved in before I was able to work on my room. Since I wasn't able to get into my room for a couple of hours, I decided to take a few pictures instead. Below is the progression of my room. Enjoy!

Math books and furniture....hmmmm.

All my stuff in the hallway waiting to be moved into my new room

Looks like some progress is being made!

Lookin' better....

The final product. It's a weird angle from my door, but it shows you how much space I have! Whoo Hoo!

This year I have a speech intern from Kansas State University. Megan will be with our department until November. She has helped out so much already!

And here is my trusty assistant, Robin. She was with me last year and I couldn't do my job without her! She's hard at work making sure everything stays organized. We have been copying, filing, and sorting papers this week to get ready for speech to start next week.
It all came together and I am exhausted! I'm glad it's the weekend and I'm hoping to relax and rejuvenate myself for Monday!
