I really enjoyed the time we spent at the beach today, it makes me appreciate it that much more now and I'm praying that this oil spill doesn't totally ruin the beach so we can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

The sign welcoming vistors to the beach!

The sign that warned you about the oil spill when you arrived at the beach.

Still a beautiful beach!

Not something you usually see at the beach, there were constant reminders of the oil spill everywhere.

White sand and beautiful blue water!

This oil was about 5 feet from where Sarah and I were sitting.

Later that evening my parents hosted a fish fry for some friends of theirs. I practiced using my camera some more. The food was good {I did try a piece of fish} and we enjoyed the cooler air in the evening while sitting outside by the pool. My dad has been a good sport while I've taken on my new picture obsession, smiling and posing for the camera for mundane things like frying fish, thanks dad!

Just me.
